ABOUT
Dominique was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. She moved to the US in 1992 and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up, Dominique was creating art constantly. Her parents owned a fashion design company and she was exposed to fabrics, color studies and texture from a young age. Dominique loves to travel and is constantly taking pictures of anything that catches her eye. She is fascinated by the texture and hidden details found in her close up photos of flowers, trees, leaves, the ocean, the sky, etc.
I am an Artist, Karuna Reiki Master, and Crystal Healer. I am interested in exploring the interaction between acrylic, photos, crystals, texture, and color harmonies. I have my own Reiki practice in West Hollywood, https://dominiquereiki.com where I use crystals as a healing combination with Reiki. I started creating Crystal Grids as I love combining my three passions: art, crystals and Reiki. CRYSTAL GRID ART
Each painting consists of 11 layers of acrylic, photos, and gels on a wood a panel.
The crystals are attached and are placed in a grid with a focal point on the painting.
I have been drawn to crystals and mandalas.
AWARDS
Windows into Lilies # 5 was selected as one of the winners of Artist’s Network’s AcrylicWorks 7. It was featured in the August 2020 publication.
